Based on an ancient Chinese legend, Mulan tells the exploits of a real-life girl warrior. When her homeland and family are threatened by an invasion of bloodthirsty Huns, Mulan runs away to join the army in her father's place. There she learns that her courage, intelligence, and determination offer her a way to bring honor to her family and herself and becomes one of China's greatest heroes in the process.

Mulan JR. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like "Reflection," "Honor to Us All" and "I`ll Make a Man Out of You" as well as new songs that will get the audience up on its feet!

i wanted to have my daughter watch the broadway production of Lion King or Little Mermaid in New York. when I emailed to inquire if they allow a 1yr 6 month child in the theater, they replied that minimum age was 6 years old.

but when my daughter watched Disney on Ice's High School Musical here in manila, she enjoyed it so much. she still remembers it until now. she was 1 yr 8 months then.

maybe you could inquire from the production outfit if they allow kids, if there is a minimum age. sayang kasi if you buy the tickets na and hindi siya papasukin. you could also try having your daughter watch movies at home that are musicals, to see if she will sit through the whole thing. iba kasi ang cartoons and kapag real people na ang show.

hope that helps. Smile
