Hi there! Im preparing for my daughter's 7th bday on Jan 1, 2010

YUP! I'm 18mos away from the occasion but I really am planning this early to be able to save for it properly and I want to do things exactly as I want it to be. This is gonna be her major party with classmates and friends and relatives so I really want everything to be perfect.

When my son had his 7th bday, I even attended a balloon making seminar everyone was amazed at how creative his balloons were. His party was the first puppet show people saw at our place, complete with cotton candy maker and ice cream vendor. That was more than five years ago, and I don't want my daughter's to fall short of that. But given our economic situation, I would use the length of time to do the supplies myself and hopefully save me more money.

I really do enjoy creating these things myself so I do hope I could get as much ideas and tips from the smart moms here
